Hypnagogia: An Original Circus Theater Production by Starry Night Productions
Starry Night Productions is seeking one aerialist and one ground-based circus artist to join the cast of Hypnagogia, an original circus theater production premiering this October as part of the JAAMM Festival at the Elaine Wolf Theatre.
Hypnagogia is a new work that blends circus, dance, live music, and theatrical storytelling into a whimsical exploration of dreams, folklore, and the stories we inherit. We are looking for collaborative performers who are excited to help create an original production from the ground up.
We Are Seeking
One Ground-Based Circus Artist
- Cyr wheel strongly preferred
- Other visually compelling disciplines will be considered
- One existing performance act
- Strong theatrical presence
One Aerialist
- Open to any aerial apparatus
- One existing performance act
- Strong movement quality and storytelling
Compensation
- $150 guaranteed per performance
- Percentage of ticket sales
- $20/hour for ensemble rehearsals
Rehearsals
September through early October 2026. Rehearsal schedule will be developed around cast availability whenever possible.
