Roustabout started with a goal to raise the floor and the ceiling of performing arts in Denver. Our owner and coaches come from decades of experience in circus, acting, musical theatre, burlesque, dance, and technical theatre. We want athletes who want to have better discipline in training, look better and more convincing on stage, and to build better lifestyle habits to extend their career. We want cross-trained athletes to better sell their work. We want beginner athletes to learn the fundamentals the right way with the best coaches we can bring in.

We are changing the pedigree in this city and we want to start off on the right foot, with the best coaches, and the best intentions. We are committed to doing the hard work to put you in the right class and the right program to help you succeed.

Our Story

Roustabout School of Circus and Performing Arts was founded by Mark Radcliffe in the winter of 2025, with two missions that turned out to be one: to make circus arts excellent and accessible.

For performers, that means serious cross-training. Aerial, acrobatics, ground work, and physical performance. We believe that depth across multiple disciplines makes better artists, more adaptable performers, and ultimately more marketable ones. We’re building the kind of training environment Denver’s performance community has long needed.

For everyone else, that means lowering the barrier to entry without lowering the bar. Our 11-week single-apparatus program provides a structured path for complete beginners. From first class to student recital, with enough time to build a real habit, develop genuine skills, and discover what it feels like to perform in front of an audience with something to show for it.

We want to encourage every student to challenge themselves through low-pressure performance opportunities that let them grow with little risk. And we’re deeply committed to building lasting relationships with everyone who trains here.

Meet the Team

Mark Radcliffe

Founder & Producer

Mark Radcliffe has been in the performing arts since he was a teenager — working in technical theatre and stagecraft through high school, college, and throughout his adult life. He began formal dance training at 18, studying at Gasper’s School of Dance and Performing Arts in Fargo, ND, and has trained in circus arts since 2012 at studios across Minneapolis.
Over the past 20 years, he’s layered in hula hooping, burlesque, comedy, musical theatre, and producing into a performance life that defies easy categorization. He founded Roustabout because he believes circus should belong to everyone — not just trained performers.
Anastasia Timina

Rope - Silks

Anastasia was born in Kharkiv, Ukraine, and always dreamed of being an artist. After moving to the US, she discovered circus in 2011 as a physical outlet — and quickly fell in love with its creative possibilities. By 2013, she had committed to becoming a professional aerialist and has since performed in shows and taught at studios and aerial festivals across the country.
Her performance style blends theory-driven transitions with fast, dynamic sequences — always chasing fascinating shapes, clean lines, and the illusion of defying gravity. She completed the Aerial Teacher Training Program in 2016 and has been coaching ever since, helping students discover their own potential to fly. Anastasia specializes in vertical apparatus and grounds her teaching in kinesthetics and anatomy, building skills through careful, incremental progressions.
Jennifer Grahnquist

Acting - Ballet

Jennifer is a performer, director, choreographer, and teaching artist who has spent the last 8 years working in Denver’s Front Range theatre community. Originally from Dallas, she trained in classical ballet and danced professionally with companies across the country, including Colorado Ballet.
After retiring from ballet, she moved into musical theatre, performing with the Arvada Center and the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center. She holds a Master’s in Theatre Education from the University of Northern Colorado and serves as theatre director at the Denver Waldorf School. She lives in Lakewood with her husband and two dogs, Mango and Olive.
Cosmo Dudley

Handstands - Straps

Cosmo has been an acrobat since 2008, spending equal time learning and teaching. His range covers circus acrobatics, tumbling, martial arts tricking, handbalancing, aerial straps, Chinese pole, parkour, and trampoline. He has trained across the United States, Canada, China, and Europe, studying with circus and movement instructors from around the world — and that breadth shows in his coaching.
Ambre Rouge

Lyra 1

Ambre is an aerial artist and instructor specializing in lyra (aerial hoop), with over a decade of movement and performance background. She began her aerial journey in 2011 and has developed a teaching style rooted in safety, accessibility, and body awareness. Her classes focus on building strong foundations, confidence, and fluidity in the air. With a particular focus on helping beginners find their footing and their voice.
Adam Clute

Straps - Flexibility

Adam is an aerial artist with nine years of training and professional performance experience, including multiple cruise ship contracts. His work on aerial straps and acro adagio combines raw strength and precise control with a genuine sense of artistry. The rare combination of power that actually looks effortless.
For the past six years, he's brought that same standard to coaching, teaching aerial straps alongside flexibility, mobility, calisthenics, and strength training. His approach is direct and intentional; he's not here to be your hype man. He's here to make you stronger, cleaner, and more aware of what your body is actually doing.
Whether you're picking up a strap for the first time or working toward advanced skills, Adam will push you to move with purpose and train with discipline. Results are the point.
Tiana Hernandez

Tiana has spent more than 15 years training in all forms of performing arts from Figure Skating, Acrobatics, Latin and Ballroom Dance, Aerial Arts, and Contortion. She started her circus journey 5 years ago in Hawaii. Personally, she loves performing and being on stage and she aims to bring the same confidence and pride to her students and their own art. Her instruction focuses on a blend of strength and beauty.
